Ladies, Kings, Queens, Queers and Allies,
Queer Mango presents One Mic Stand at JAM, featuring queers and their allies!

From songwriters to slam poets, dancers to drag kings & queens, we invite artists of all sexualities and genders to get up on stage. And if you want to stay out of the spotlight, come anyway for food, drinks, dance and talented company.

Open Mic will be from 8-10pm, followed by DJ set till midnight to celebrate QueerMango’s first anniversary- come to celebrate and drink a beer with us!

Am I talented enough?
We’re not here to judge, we’re here to celebrate! Come as you are and have fun.

I’m not queer, can I still perform?
Of course! Anyone can perform, as long as they leave homophobia, transphobia, sexism, racism and machismo at the door.

How long are performances?
Maximum 7 minutes per performer.

What equipment is available?
2 microphones, one keyboard, acoustic ukulele, guitar and bass amp, sound mixer

I need something different, though!
If you sign up in advance, we can try and work with you.

When can I sign up on the night?
Yep, signups start from 7:30pm.

I can perform, but not in English, is this ok?
YES, absolutely!
