Looking for a queer friendly experience which involves helping elephants’ conservation, adrenaline rush and open air activities? Look no further!

Bring The Elephant Home Foundation is organizing the 7th annual fund raising bicycle trip in Kanchanaburi. The two days event is happening on 16 – 17 January 2016. The queer’s friendly event will give you the unforgettable experience on two wheels in a charity bike ride to support wild elephant conservation and protection of our forests in Thailand.

If you are not a sport friendly person you can also sponsor the cyclists! Riders will try to find their own sponsors, but all support is very welcome!

Below is the 2 days schedule details of the Tour de Chang:
Saturday, January 16, 2016
About 70 km, the route is suitable for average bikers.

• Welcome and briefing at the start line.
• About 70 km, the route is suitable for average bikers.
• Water and lunch stops at the highlights of the routes.
• Rafting along the River Kwai with a visit to the waterfalls of Sai Yok National Park
• Overnight at a resort with a group talk at night.

Sunday, January 17, 2016
About 50 km, parts off-road, the route is suitable for average bikers.

• Biking through a quiet, natural and diverse environment.
• Water and lunch stops at the highlights of the route.
• Finish at Elephant Haven, where we can learn about elephant behaviour and observe elephants in their natural environment. Group photo with bikes and elephants and awards ceremony. At 5 PM we drive back to Kanchanaburi city.

Where: Sai Yok National Park, Kranjanaburi Province
When: August 8th 2015 – from 9:30 pm till 2 am
Price: 8,500 THB per person

  • This fee includes 3,500 THB registration fee and a 5,000 THB donation for projects to conserve wild elephants such as forest restoration**, engaging community participation, making land and water nourishments and human-elephant conflict mitigation projects.
  • The contribution also includes safety instructions, a t-shirt, overnight stay, mountain bike rental, helmet, all meals and drinks. Also included: elephant observation, rafting, a lot of new impressions, new friendships and an experience you won’t forget.
