Do you think the LGBTQ rights associations in Thailand are not active enough?
Think it twice, as the Foundation For SOGI Rights and Justice (FOR-SOGI) is organizing on 15th December 2015 a full day of activities concentrated on Marriage Equality in Thailand.

Expect a conference plus a “wedding procession” throughout the city to reclaim the right to love and to get married with whoever we like, independently from the sex or gender and against discrimination based on Sexual Orientation ans Gender Identity (SOGI)

The date has been set for 15 December by the organizers as it was the day when the request to Administrative Court was filled in order to remove the paragraph that stated that people whose gender expression and biological sex are not matched are considered as mental illness.

It was a big day in Thailand’s history of LGBT rights since it was the first time the civil society has filed a lawsuit against the discrimination practiced by the governmental institution.

We all witnessed the large triumph of “Love Wins” this past summer in US when the Supreme Court declared same-sex marriage legal in America – this 15th December, march with FOR-SOGI with rainbow flags: is time to claim for Thailand the same right of love!
