NOT to be confused with Bar 23 (Sukhumvit 16), this small bar and 2 floor gallery shophouse, is one of the happening places to be in Chinatown. Opened up by the former owner of Bar 23, it’s basically a smaller copy of the old bar, but with more of an artistic touch.

Tips: You will find: cheap beers, smoky atmosphere, rock music and the highlight is that every month there will be a different exhibition. With a grungy, hipsteresque feel, this is the place to go to chill, spill and thrill.

Not to miss: from June 12th, 2015 till July 3rd, 2015, the photo exhibition Queers of Bangkok will be open to the public. For an authentic look into the queer women’s world of Bangkok, this exhibition is thought provoking and explores the multi-dimensional world of queer Bangkok.

Where: 23Bar & Gallery, Soi Nana 92, Chinatown, Bangkok
When: Open Wednesday-Sunday, 6pm-12pm
Near: MRT Hua Lamphong – Exit 1

Queerometer: ‘queer as folk’ who like beer, art and rock music in Chinatown
